Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on 31 October 1979. The most well-known character she has played is the role of the deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy television series Eureka. Cerra is from Italian origin and was born in Vancouver in British Columbia. Cerra became interested in acting since she was eight years old. She appeared in numerous commercials as she began her journey. Her acting career was not as successful for some time. However, in 2001 she came back in the business at age the age of 22.
